- Add songs on a playlist's own page: find a title in your library and put its openings and endings on the playlist.
- Playlists and a title's Play all now go through the queue, so you can reorder, shuffle or repeat them.
- The library's More menu plays what the view shows, or their openings: a tag becomes a playlist without selecting anything.
- Fixed: two songs added quickly could leave one out, a playlist played twice went into the queue twice, and an opening two titles share played twice.

- Repeat beside the queue puts each item back at the end once it plays: openings on a loop, or a few shows in turn.
- Lists on this computer, and friends' playlists of openings on their profiles, play straight from where they are listed.
- Play its openings in the library's right-click menu.
- Fixed: the Watch page offered the queue in a Watch together room, and Play on Continue watching left out the title shown above the row.
- Fixed: changing the language in another window could reload a page to the address it first opened at.

- Keep as a list keeps the queue's openings too, as a private playlist of openings on your Kioku account.
- A whole playlist of openings goes into the queue after what waits there, and playlists and lists play straight from Lists.

- Play their openings: the openings of selected library titles (a tag becomes a playlist), of a list or of a whole franchise in release order play one after another in Kioku's window, the first as soon as it is found.
- The queue shuffles, reorders by dragging, and plays any item at once from its number. Playlists of openings play shuffled too.
- Play on the YouTube and Bilibili shelves of Watch, and on the library's Behind on airing view, plays the next episode of each title one after another.
- On a phone the queue's actions go under its name instead of crowding it.

- Selected library titles go into Up next together, beside the queue and the lists.
- Fixed: an episode AniList took off the schedule could come back from Kioku's kept schedule; only the Kioku server's answers without times fall back on it now.
- Fixed: a series told finished after one episode could lose its episodes to come before Kioku weighed that answer.
- Fixed: a list kept from the queue says which titles stayed out, Next in the middle of an episode leaves the window playing when the queue goes to a service's site, and library cards on touch screens no longer run into the next row.

- While AniList's API is off, airing titles keep their next episode and countdown from the schedule Kioku already knows, instead of losing it.
- Play from here on each title of a list starts the list there, as a playlist plays from a song.
- The player small in a corner counts down to what comes next, shows its end and asks to go on, each on one line beside its own buttons.
- Playing an account list brings its titles into Kioku four at a time.

- Keep the queue as a list, to play it again later; a title in the queue opens its page from the list, and a long queue folds after eight.
- Q in the library puts the focused title's next episode in the queue.
- On a phone, the Watch page's waiting queue plays on the computer.
- When the queue goes on to a service's site, Kioku's window shows its end instead of standing on the last picture.
- Openings queued from a title's page carry the title's name and cover.
- Fixed: the stats tables that scroll sideways read better with a screen reader.

2026-10-22 00:38:48 +00:00 | 467 commits to main since this releaseKioku is a tracker for anime, manga, light novels and visual novels that runs on your own computer. It is made first for Windows and works on macOS and Linux too. Your library lives in a database on your computer, syncs with AniList, MyAnimeList, AniDB, Kitsu, MangaBaka, Shikimori, Simkl, Bangumi and VNDB, sends to Trakt, plays your episodes in mpv or follows the player you already use, reads your manga and light novels, and lets you watch together with friends. Kioku speaks English, Slovak and Czech.
New in 2.90.1
- Fixed: at the end of the last file, the countdown to the next episode on YouTube or Bilibili started again after it fired, and when the stream could not open it kept trying every few seconds. It now fires once, waits when Stop at the end of the episode is on, counts toward the binge question, and lets something queued meanwhile go first.
- Fixed: Not for me shows only for a title being tried, the phone remote names the queue's real next, and after an episode watched on a service's site the queue's next is offered even with the window still open.
