2026-10-23 11:03:09 +00:00 | 197 commits to main since this releaseKioku is a tracker for anime, manga, light novels and visual novels that runs on your own computer. It is made first for Windows and works on macOS and Linux too. Your library lives in a database on your computer, syncs with AniList, MyAnimeList, AniDB, Kitsu, MangaBaka, Shikimori, Simkl, Bangumi and VNDB, sends to Trakt, plays your episodes in mpv or follows the player you already use, reads your manga and light novels, and lets you watch together with friends. Kioku speaks English, Slovak and Czech.
New in 2.130.0
- Keeping a large library in step with your Kioku account costs far less: a title removed here but kept on the account no longer makes every change you make download every list again, a sync that fails waits before trying again instead of every half minute, and a sync that finds nothing changed writes nothing.
- Lists and your kept data come down only when they changed, and the server sends them packed, so an unchanged library of a thousand titles no longer costs a megabyte each time.
- Picks go to your account once you pause picking, not after every pick, and waking the computer no longer starts two or three syncs in a row.
- A title with more tags or longer notes than your account holds no longer stops its other changes, such as progress, from reaching the account.
- Home's titles starting later link to the calendar of premieres, which opens on the month of the next one; Your season counts the shows you still watch from seasons before; the season deck works for announced titles too.
- For whoever runs a Kioku server: packed answers need the server updated.
