2026-10-19 20:30:44 +00:00 | 898 commits to main since this releaseKioku is a tracker for anime, manga and light novels that runs on your own computer. It is made first for Windows and works on macOS and Linux too. Your library lives in a database on your computer, syncs with AniList, MyAnimeList, AniDB, Kitsu, MangaBaka, Shikimori, Simkl and Bangumi, sends to Trakt, plays your episodes in mpv or follows the player you already use, reads your manga and light novels, and lets you watch together with friends. Kioku speaks English, Slovak and Czech.
New in 2.38.0
Your own data on every device, and a release calendar from the server's database.
- Everything of your own is kept on your Kioku account and reaches every device and the website: favourite characters, staff and studios, up next, saved filters and smart lists, episode notes, the days you watched episodes, remind bells, per-title notices, drop reasons, noted moments, your own skips, watch plans, and your settings (title languages, score format, services, language, notices, goals, layouts, the sidebar and the week plan). Settings that belong to a device, such as the player, stay with it.
- Skipped fillers, owned volumes, rankings, tier lists, your year's best and track choices now stay on the right titles on other devices; before, they could land on other titles.
- The calendar on the website shows every episode of the week from the server's own timetable. An episode put off later is marked Delayed, with when it was due; the app marks the same from its own schedule.
- Seasons on the website list the shows carried over from earlier seasons and the ones announced without a season yet.
- For admins, Server, Catalog lets you browse the titles in the database and open each one's whole record, and shows what each table holds, with members' libraries counted but never shown. Run now no longer says "Something went wrong"; the job always ran.
