2026-10-20 11:02:56 +00:00 | 753 commits to main since this releaseKioku is a tracker for anime, manga, light novels and visual novels that runs on your own computer. It is made first for Windows and works on macOS and Linux too. Your library lives in a database on your computer, syncs with AniList, MyAnimeList, AniDB, Kitsu, MangaBaka, Shikimori, Simkl, Bangumi and VNDB, sends to Trakt, plays your episodes in mpv or follows the player you already use, reads your manga and light novels, and lets you watch together with friends. Kioku speaks English, Slovak and Czech.
New in 2.48.0
- A season a service releases all at once is one row in the week's schedule and the month (Ep 1 to 10), one event in the calendar feed and one notification, instead of ten.
- A sync that Kioku was closed in the middle of no longer shows as running forever; it ends as an error when Kioku starts again.
- For servers: Server, Catalog says how many airing titles in members' libraries have no time for their next episode, a sign that the AniList jobs are not reaching them.
- On the website: a thread's moderation tools fold away, your own posts offer Remove rather than Hide, and a conversation fills a phone's screen. Hints on Stats and Seasons point where their buttons really are.

To connect AniList, open Services, choose Connect on AniList and approve: nothing else to set up. The first sync is always a preview that changes nothing until you apply it.To play episodes in Kioku's own player, install mpv; or keep the player you have and let Kioku follow it. Everything else Kioku needs comes with it or installs itself.
Everything Kioku does and good to know: the full notes. Earlier releases: all notes.
